Educational poster developed completely from abstract symbols. The strong emphasis on basic geometric symbols helped to develop, create, and influence the decisions made on the poster. This emphasis added visual interest as well as facilitated a deeper connection with viewers.For example, rectangles are an abstract
way to represent men & boys symbolizing their strength, 
supportive and masculine characteristics versus the triangles that represent women & girls symbolizing their fertility, wisdom and femininity. Drugs are shown as 

hexagons and resemble the makeup of a chemical compound - thus all symbols were shapes that derived from the basic element (hexagon).
